I want to dye it pink.Not permanently and i found some dye that will come out in 20-30 washes and i can pay for it myself.But when ever i ask then they say no and my mom said that it would just look stupid and my dad said to give them a break its christmas.i do have different color extensions but i want my whole hair pink.how can i convince then to let me dye it?

I want to dye my hair dark purple/violet and have bought a semi permanent hiar dye to try it with but i have been highlighting my hair or the past few years at salons with permanent dye. The stylist hasnt used bleach on my hair when doing this as my hair is naturally dark blonde but i want to know if using semi permanent hair dye could still affect the highlighted sections of my hair permanately, leaving my hair with washed out violet colour. Any advice would be great. The brand of dye i have bought is swarzkopf (sp?) live.

i’ve got like a dirty blonde hair color, and i’ve never dyed my hair, so should i start out w/ a light brown and keep working my way up to get to the brown color i want, or do i just buy the dark brown instead of wasting all that money? help is appreciated.

I’m planning on dying my hair purple when I visit a friend in the UK. Should I buy something over the counter or should I go to a salon? How much will that cost? My hair is light brown….do i have to bleach it first, then dye it?
