Anyone know what the purple/pink scale growing on inside glass of my saltwater aquarium is?

I dyed my hair purple four months ago, then dyed it medium brown to hide it. Now I have a green tint. Help?

I am a dark strawberry blonde, and when I discovered that I didn’t need a job for five months, I foolishly dyed my hair all sorts of crazy colors. Unfortunately, the dye bonded itself to my hair, making it impossible to strip. Thanks to a skin reaction to bleach kits, I turned to the only option available: dying it a brown that was darker than the purple.

I used Special Effects (a 4-6 week dye) for the color dyes, which also included an aquamarine and a dark blue. After I dyed it brown (using Garnier Nuctrisse), it appears to have neutralized most of the purple and turned that half to a brown with a very green tint. We have since dyed over that section once, and the green is a lot harder to see, but I’m wondering if there’s some simple way to get rid of it that I’m simply not thinking about.
