Colour, i’ve got 2 questions?

Alright, so we know the primary colours are red, green, and blue. and that the artist primary colours are red, yellow, and blue.
Can red, yellow and blue make every single colour?
Can red, blue and green make every single colour?
All this add up to one question which i confuses me.
If an artist were to paint a picture with all the colours of the spectrum which 3 colours does he use?
So does the artist use
green, red, blue
yellow, red, blue
cyan, magenta, yellow
