When p-rosaniliene hydrochloride (colour is magenta) reacts with aldehyde it forms SHIFF’S REAGENT but on further hydrolysis it again forms p-rosaniliene hydrochloride (but colour is pink).
why this happens, the same thing is firstly of magenta colour and then it is pink. Why is it like this?
